Merchandise / Design Assistant:

Gem-Dandy Accessories designs, manufactures, and distributes high-quality men’s, ladies and kids belts with strong fit, style, and workmanship. We are seeking a Merchandise / Design Assistant. Support the merchandise team on short- and long-term projects while contributing a positive, can-do attitude.

Job Description:

• Assist with seasonal product lines and special projects, including entering, tracking, and organizing virtual and physical prototypes.

• Prepare product lines for sales meetings and trade shows; ship new salesman samples to the sales force.

• Photograph, save, and organize new style images in NT Xpress.

• Create operational binder for all tasks in Merchandising

• Perform basic data entry, including style descriptions and pricing.

• Check vendor sample invoice prices and tag development samples.

• Create line and sell sheets in Excel.

Skills for Success:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications

• Some Adobe Acrobat experience

• Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus; willingness to learn new software

• Cell phone with high quality camera, no older than 4 years

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Self-starter and team player

• Good eye for color and design
